PM opens meeting of on veterans, victims of war

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Deputizing for his Majesty King Abdullah II, Prime Minister Abdullah Ensour, on Sunday, opened the 26th session of the General Assembly of the Arab Federation for Veterans and Victims of War.

In his opening remarks, he said that rich experience of veterans can contribute to nurturing a generation capable of addressing future challenges and defending the nation's causes.

Ensour said that the war on terrorism is not only military but also a political and a media war that requires concerted efforts to protect our nation and spread security and stability .

The five-day meeting focuses on examining a number of draft laws presented by member of the federation to better serve members of veterans association and enhance solidarity and cooperation among Arab countries.
