17-04-2016 11:21 PM

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Minister of State for Media Affairs and the government spokesman, Mohammad Al-Momani, said the law is biding to all persons and entities, stressing that no one is above the law in Jordan.

During a press conference held with the Minister of Justice, Bassam Talhouni, Sunday evening to discuss the recent cabinet decisions, Al-Momani said that part of the illegal Muslim Brotherhood case is still in courts.

He said the government avoids addressing this issue so that it won't give it a political dimension, noting that the case is purely legal.

He noted that the newly licensed Muslim Brotherhood Society has filed complaints, alleging that an unlicensed group is carrying out activities in its name and premises, pointing out that the recent measures were about applying the law.
