Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Six individuals, who had been placed on the international wanted list, were arrested last March by the Interpol's office in Amman, Police Media Center reported Thursday.
It added that Amman's office was also notified on the arrest of 9 people outside the Kingdom wanted by the Jordanian authorities.
As a result of investigations and search, an Iraqi national wanted in his country for "deliberately harming state funds" had been arrested, clarified the center.
The media center elaborated that five wanted people were arrested, including four wanted in Arab states for financial crimes. The fifth was wanted for Amman's prosecutor under a red notice issued against him, shortly after he left Jordan.
"Those arrested were taken into custody, pending extradition proceedings to their countries, in accordance with the provisions of relevant laws, while those wanted by Jordanian authorities will be handed over through diplomatic means," it added.
