Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - A slight in temperatures is expected on Thursday, but it will remain warm in most parts of the Kingdom with clouds at medium and high altitudes. Winds will be northwesterly moderate stirring dust in the Badia regions.
According to the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD), a rise in temperatures is forecast Friday to become 6-7 degrees above their seasonal average; but similar warm conditions remain in the highlands, while it will be relatively hot in other parts of the country with variable winds.
As for Saturday it will continue to be relatively hot in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and the Gulf of Aqaba with southwesterly moderate to brisk winds, blowing dust in the southern and eastern regions, the JMD added.
Light showers are forecast in different parts of the Kingdom during Saturday night, with northwesterly moderate to brisk winds, the JMD daily brief said.
Maximum temperatures expected in the capital for today will reach a high of 26 degrees Celsius dropping down to 15 degrees, while mercury levels in the Gulf of Aqaba will hit 32 degrees Celsius plunging to 20 degrees at night.
