Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - A rise in temperatures is expected on Thursday becoming 6--8 degrees above their seasonal average with southeasterly to southwesterly moderate to brisk winds blowing dust in the desert areas.
According to the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD), similar warm conditions will continue to prevail on Friday across the Kingdom with high clouds. At night, it will be partly cloudy with a chance for drizzles especially in the southern regions, while winds will be southwesterly moderate stirring dust in the Badia areas.
A tangible in temperatures is expected on Saturday as the country will be affected by a relatively cold and wet air mass; therefore it will be cloudy with heavy rain accompanied by thunder and lightening at times, the JMD added.
Winds will be southeasterly to southwesterly moderate with strong gusts at times.
Temperatures expected in the capital for today will range between a high of 27 degrees Celsius and a low of 11 at night, while mercury levels in the Gulf of Aqaba will hit 33 degrees plunging to17 degrees at night.
