Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - A slight rise in temperatures is expected on Tuesday and Wednesday , but it will remain relatively cold in the highlands, mild in the desert regions and eastern plains, while it will be warm in the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea.
According to the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD), winds will be westerly moderate with low clouds and fog formation over the hilly areas reducing horizontal visibility.
A further rise in temperatures is forecast on Thursday to become 8-9 degrees above their annual average and creating warm conditions across the country. Winds will be southeasterly to southwesterly moderate to brisk stirring dust in the desert areas.
Temperatures expected in the capital for today will range between a high of 18 degrees Celsius and a low of 9 degrees at night, while mercury levels in the Gulf of Aqaba will hit 27 dropping down to 16 degrees at night, the JMD said.
