Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - His Royal Highness Prince Ali Bin Al Hussein, on Friday, will run for the presidency of the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) in Zurich.
Gianni Infantino, Sheikh Salman Bin Ebrahim Al Khalifa of Bahrain, Jerome Champagne of France and South African, Tokyo Sexwale are the other four candidates vying for the position against Prince Ali.
The election process which will be attended by 207 countries after the exclusion of Kuwait and Indonesia, will be preceded by meetings of the FIFA General Assembly.
The Jordan Football Association (JFA) set three rallies in Amman, Irbid and Aqaba to support Prince Ali in the elections and follow the election process.
Prince Ali is presenting a comprehensive electoral program, which is supported by many football associations and includes ideas that will improve football all over the world. It also aims to address corruption that hit FIFA lately and toppled its former president, Joseph Blatter.
