Fontana declarations come during a lecture, organized by Middle East Studies Center entitled by " European politics towards Jordan and the transformations in the middle east" . This lecture is attended by some of diplomatic, politic and academic figures. Fontana appreciated the efforts of Jordan with dealing with the Syrian refeguee despite of its limited resources. He stressed that the aid should be in the development sector not relief assistance which served societies in the hospitality countries for the refugees. He stressed that the European Union will continue the task with Jordan to work for bring back the peace process to the table, and to work with the partners in the area to arrive the solution according to the two state solution.
