Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - A slight rise in temperatures is expected Thursday and Friday to become 3-5 degrees above their annual average; therefore it will be cold in the hilly areas, mild in the Badia regions, while it will be relatively warm in the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea.
The Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said that winds will be southeasterly moderate to brisk, with cold conditions expected at night and frost formation across the country.
A in temperatures is expected Saturday as the Kingdom will be affected by a cold wet air mass centered above Cyprus; therefore it will be cold and relatively cloudy with rain mainly in the central and northern parts of the Kingdom.
Heavy downpour is forecast Saturday night, accompanied with thunder, lightening and hail at times. Winds will be westerly brisk stirring dust in the Badia region, the JMD added.
Temperatures expected in the capital for today will range between a high of 17 degrees Celsius and a low of 5 degrees at night, while mercury levels in the Gulf of Aqaba will hit 23 degrees during daytime dropping to 10 degrees at night.
