18-07-2009 03:46 PM

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS — Mohammad Al Rahamneh, an employee at the Zai Water Treatment Plant, threatened to commit suicide on Tuesday unless he was transferred to work at the Fuheis Water Treatment Plant.

Al Rahamneh said yesterday that he would jump off the 30-metre high water aquifer in Zai if he is not transferred to Fuheis.

Balqa Governor Sameh Majali rushed to the scene, managing to convince Al Rahamneh not to commit suicide after he called the Jordan Water Authority secretary general and got his approval to transfer Al Rahamneh to work in Fuheis, eyewitnesses told Ammonnnews.
