Temps dip tonight with freezing forecast in most regions, JMD

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS -It will be cold in most regions of the Kingdom and relatively cold in the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea tonight, with frost formation after midnight in West Amman and the highlands across the Kingdom, according to the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD).
It said minimum temperatures in East Amman will hit 5 celsius tonight, while West Amman will expect a low of 3 and the Badia and Eastern Plains 2 degrees. The Central and Southern Jordan Valley and the Red Sea port of Aqaba can expect 12 degrees tonight.
The JMD said temperatures will slightly rise Monday and will be a bit above average at this time of year, but will remain relatively cold in the hilly areas though mild in the Badia and warm in the Jordan Valley, Aqaba and the Dead Sea.
It said some batches of clouds will appear during the night hours with a chance for a drizzle in the northernmost parts of the country with south-easterly moderate winds, turning brisk at times.
Maximum and minimum temperatures in Amman will be 14-5 degrees in West Amman, 10-5 in northern hilly areas, 18-4 in the Badia, 25-13 in the Central Jordan Valley and 25-13 degrees in Aqaba, according to JMD.
It said that the weather on Tuesday will be relatively cold in the hilly areas, fair in the Badia and warm in the Valley, Aqaba and the Dead Sea with some medium and high clouds in the skies and northerly moderate winds.
