During the meeting, King Abdullah stressed on the centrality of the Palestinian cause as the core of the region's conflict, pointing out to the importance of the role of Jewish organizations in reviving the peace process. Also, the King voiced Jordan's rejection of the Israeli attacks on the Islamic holy sites in Jerusalem and of unilateral actions that threaten the holy city, and affect its Arab and Islamic identity. In turn, Lauder confirmed the World Jewish Congress's support to the peace process and Jordan's efforts in this regard.

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - His Majesty King Abdullah II, on Wednesday, met with President of the World Jewish Congress, Ronald Lauder.

During the meeting, King Abdullah stressed on the centrality of the Palestinian cause as the core of the region's conflict, pointing out to the importance of the role of Jewish organizations in reviving the peace process.
