The source added that the armed forces have repeatedly emphasized that the Kingdom's security is a red line, while stressing that the army operates with applicable rules of engagement, and it avoids opening fire against unarmed people who are trying to infiltrate across the border. The official spokesman warned that the border guards will deal firmly against any infiltration or smuggling attempt.

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Border guards Monday night foiled an attempt by two people to sneak from Syria to the Kingdom, the official spokesman of the Jordanian Armed Forces, Arab-Army said.
