Emirati-Jordanian camp holds Iftar feast

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - The management of the Emirati-Jordanian camp for Syrian refugees at Mrajeeb Al Fhood on July 9 hosted a mass Iftar feast at the Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan Mosque in Aqaba City in memory of the mosque’s namesake and the founding father of the UAE.

Following the feast, the management of the camp delivered 1,000 packages of food, clothes and blankets to Jordanian charities to help poor local families.

Deputy Director of the camp Abdullah Al Mazroui and a number of Jordanian officials oversaw the feast.

The beneficiaries thanked the UAE, Emirati donors and the Emirates Red Crescent (ERC) for their relief efforts and initiatives and prayed to Allah Almighty to bless the soul of the late Sheikh Zayed.

They also wished for continued good health for President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
