UN exhibition on Zaatari camp opens today

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - An photo exhibition on the Zaatari Syrian refugee camp will kick off on Tuesday evening in the United Nations headquarters.

Permanent Representative of Jordan at the UN Dina Kawar and Dutch Foreign Minister Bert Koenders will speak during the event, which is organized by the missions of Jordan and Netherlands to the UN in cooperation with the UN High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR).

Three photographers from the United States and a British photographer who took pictures of everyday life at Zaatari camp, will participate in the exhibition.

Zaatari camp is the second largest refugee camp in the world.
