Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Prime Minister Abdullah Ensour on Thursday arrived in Baghdad on a one-day official visit, during which he will convey a written message from His Majesty King Abdullah II to Iraqi President Fuad Masum regarding the strong relations between the two countries.
The message tackles ways to enhance coordination and consultation on issues of concern to Arab countries and the two brotherly peoples and addresses the wave of extremism and ways to counter terrorist organizations and movements.
Ensour, who leads a ministerial delegation, will meet his Iraqi counterpart Haider Al-Abadi and other top Iraqi officials.
Upon arrival, the premier was welcomed by the Iraqi prime minister, a number of Iraqi ministers and officials, Jordanian Ambassador in Baghdad Mohammad Qur'an, and Iraqi Ambassador to Jordan Jawad Abbas.
The delegation includes ministers of Foreign Affairs and the Affairs of Expatriates Nasser Judeh, Internal Affairs Hussein Majali, Industry and Trade and Supply Hatem Halawani , Agriculture Akef al-Zoubi, State for Media Affairs Mohammed Al-Momani, Energy and Mineral Resources Mohammad Hamid and Public Works and Housing Sami Halsah, in addition to Minister of Transportation Lina Shabib.
