Ensour : Jordan's economy has become miserable

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Nouf Elwir - Prime Minister Dr. Abdullah Ensour to asylum and the instability of the markets because of the surrounding circumstances, the points of which weaken the Jordanian economy as well as the environment, water, energy and agriculture.

Ensour stressed, during a press conference held at the prime ministry in partnership with the ministers of planning Ibrahim Saif and media Mohammed Al-Momani, that Jordan hit a lot of stop road transport to Syria, Iraq, and had a negative impact on all internal sectors at the economy and tourism and education .

Ensour said that the asylum burden on Jordan, Afterthought "but that Jordan should not be punished because he hosted his brother."

Ensour said four billion dollars " direct financial cost of the waves of asylum" to the kingdom, along with other costs as security and competition for jobs, and the smuggling of arms and drugs.

He pointed to the existence 1.42 million Syrian Citizens at the territory of Kingdom, and 220 000 Iraqis, and the nearly three million Palestinians, and 20 000 Libyan, along with other nationalities.

He described the current economic situation as the worst, which passes over the kingdom, and said that the financial situation of the kingdom became miserable.

The conference was opened by the Minister Momani referring to a plan for ten years set by the Ministry of Planning on behalf of the government.

The prime minister pointed to the constitutional amendments, pointing out that the defense minister either civilian or retired military and become the Ministry of Defense as Independent ministry.
