Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - The Goodwill Ambassador Samar Shdaifat launched initiative "we are brothers" in Manshiet Bani Hassan, in cooperation with the Directorate for the development of retail and the juveniles and orphans society and with the support of the Australian people.
The initiative included the charity packages; clothes, blankets and food supplies to refugees, they are distributed to 400 Syrians refugees in Manshiet Bani Hassan.
Ambassador Shdaifat confirmed the importance of positive interaction an cooperation between Jordan and brothers abroad in supporting of families who are in need, especially in the current situation, her ambassador assert on the importance of providing ongoing support and cooperating with all sides to provide families in need with what they need.
She appreciates the coordinators Salah Shdaifat and his wife Christine Leissle for their coordination and cooperation for shipping this donation from Australian people to Syrian refugees.
She said that we also need to provide support in parallel for both families of Jordanians who are need and Syrians refugees, so we will soon launch another initiative to support mothers who have babies to provide them with what they need.
Businessman Salah Shdaifat who lives in Australia, has coordinated in shipping this container to Jordan, asserted the importance of dedicating efforts to support our brothers who suffer from Syrian crisis at all levels, he said the most important point for the success of such initiatives was to ignore the barriers of borders and do our best to give hand to people who are in need, he mentioned that it necessary to give hand to poor families and draw a smile on their lips and in their hearts, to the continuity of the Australian people support to needy families and frequently.
Christine Leissle said we would like to thank all the people who helped and make this project a reality. We spent many weeks sourcing and collecting donations, we hope that this initiative can be an ongoing arrangement with the support of the local and international Australian government bodies, she added that the culture of donation and volunteering are confirmed in all human cultures and religions, this is a part of values that we should keep it to be part of world,
The head of the Charities Directorate in retail development, Turky Muslim khazaalh said thanks for all Australian people who give hand for Syrian refugees who suffer from the current situation, he asserted the importance of cooperating with Syrian, he mentioned the importance of the role of Jordanians through ongoing support, pointing out that the businessman Salah is a model worth to follow young expatriates and communication.
He noted that the circumstances warranting the attention of the international community and national institutions and foreign organizations to stand by Jordan, he appreciated the efforts of goodwill Ambassador Samar Shdaifat and her cooperation and coordination with the Australian people in securing support for the Syrian refugees, in addition to the role of the Juvenile Welfare Association for their cooperation.
