His Majesty again warned of the serious consequences resulting from the dangerous escalation happening in the Gaza Strip and the need to stop the targeting of civilians and the importance of respecting international law in this regard. His Majesty also warned of the risks of halting negotiations on final status issues within a framework of a two-state solution, which will only lead to further escalation and violence. His Majesty also assured that Jordan is putting all possible efforts to ensure the delivery of medical and humanitarian assistance to the people in the Gaza Strip

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - His Majesty King Abdullah II and United Nations Secretary General Ban Ki-moon discussed over a phone call Sunday evening the latest developments in the Gaza Strip.

His Majesty again warned of the serious consequences resulting from the dangerous escalation happening in the Gaza Strip and the need to stop the targeting of civilians and the importance of respecting international law in this regard.
