JHCO sends aid to West Bank, Quran copies to Ghana

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - The Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization (JHCO) on Wednesday sent a truckload of aid to the West Bank, including supply of medicines to be distributed among the Palestinian Ministry of Health's hospitals in Ramallah.

The Organization also sent 10,000 copies of the Holy Quran to the west African country, Ghana, in order to be distributed via the Abdul Aziz Foundation for Charity and Humanitarian Work.

JHCO Secretary General Ayman Mefleh told Petra that the Organization will continue to support the Palestinian people by sending aid convoys to help alleviate their suffering.

As for the copies of Quran, Mefleh said that it is part of a Jordanian, Arab, and Islamic initiative that seeks to spread the message of tolerance that Islam gives.
