Ammon News - AMMONNEWS -Syrian nationals continue line up to exercise their democratic right to choose their next President.

The large number of voters exceeded expectation and more ballot-tents had to be set up to accommodate the overflow.

Syrians lined up around the embassy and chanted national songs and praised the current President Bashar Assad.

Jordanians and Arab citizens are allowed to cast a "pronouncement" vote in the honorary box.
Anti Assad protestors stood near by and held signs depicting Assad as holding a ballot stained with blood.

Information with the wrong date and address were circulated in an attempt to mislead voters.
Jordan's expulsion of Syria's ambassador just two days before the elections was seen as an attempt to derail process.

Western countries, Israel and Saudi Arabia proclaimed the election as farce.
France,Germany, Belgium and United Arab Emirate denied their Syrian expats from the right to vote for their next president.
