The armed forces also arrested several men did not respond to border guards’ procedural warnings, prompting the troops to open fire in line with the rules of engagement observed in such cases. The source said that the border guards received 1144 refugees who crossed into the Kingdom over the 72 hours including 60 injured people. The refugees were provided with humanitarian services before transferring them to refugee camps. On the other hand, the border guards have foiled an attempt to smuggle three cars from Syria into the Jordanian territories.

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Border guards shot and killed a man, injured a number tried to infiltrate from Syria into Jordan during 72 past hours, a source at the Jordan Armed Forces said.
