Jordan, Saudi sign $232 mn grant agreements

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Jordan and Saudi Arabia signed $232 million grant agreements Sunday, the state media reported.

Jordanian Minister for Planning and International Cooperation Ibrahim Saif said the amount will be used to finance projects in the field of water, irrigation and infrastructure.

The grant is part of $1.25 billion grant that Saudi Arabia pledged to extend to Jordan in 2011 over a period of five years, the minister added.
