King, guest of honour at British military parade

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS -On a visit to the United Kingdom, King Abdullah II on Sunday attended the 90th parade by the British army's armoured regiments as a guest of honour.

In addition to the London parade, attended by high-ranking British military officers, the ceremony included decorations and awarding of medals to armoured regiments’ servicemen.

Among these was the Light Dragoons, a world reputed and prestigious regiment where King Abdullah received training after graduating from the Royal Military Academy, Sandhurst.

The ceremony, which drew over 200 military officers and guests, included a luncheon hosted in honour of the King.
