Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Border guards shot and killed an Arab national who tried to infiltrate from Jordan into Syria Friday dawn, a source at the Jordan Armed Forces said. The man did not respond to border guards’ procedural warnings, prompting the troops to open fire in line with the rules of engagement observed in such cases.

The source said that the border guards received 626 refugees who crossed into the Kingdom over the past 24 hours including 8 injured people.

The refugees were provided with humanitarian services before transferring them to refugee camps.
