Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Prime Minister Abdullah Ensour on Wednesday arrived in the West Bank city of Ramallah in a short visit during which he will meet with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas and Prime Minister Rami Al Hamdallah.
The premier will discuss with the Palestinian officials bilateral ties and ways to enhance cooperation in various domains in addition to a number of issues of common interest.
Later in the day, Ensour will co-chair with his Palestinian counterpart the 4th session of the Joint Jordanian-Palestinian Higher Committee’s meetings. The two countries are expected to sign a number of agreements, executive programs and memoranda of understanding in various fields.
Upon arrival at the Palestinian headquarters, Ensour was received by Palestinian Prime Rami Al Hamdallah and a number of Palestinian officials as well as Jordan's ambassador to Palestine Khalid Shawabkeh.
The premier is accompanied by ministers of foreign affairs, interior, Industry and trade, agriculture, planning and international cooperation, public works and housing and health in addition to minister of awqaf and Islamic affairs as well as transport minister.
