Rawabdeh stressed the importance of the Jordanian-European partnership as well as Jordan's keenness to further boost it in various fields in the interest of both sides. He also reviewed accomplishments made by Jordan in terms of enhancing democracy, freedoms and respect for human rights. Durrieu, who is also a member of the French Senate, praised Jordan's reform process as well as its efforts to bring about peace and stability in the region. *Petra

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Senate President Abdul Raouf Rawabdeh met on Wednesday with a delegation from the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe led by Josette Durrieu to discuss cooperation and partnership between Jordan and the Parliamentary Assembly.

Rawabdeh stressed the importance of the Jordanian-European partnership as well as Jordan's keenness to further boost it in various fields in the interest of both sides.

He also reviewed accomplishments made by Jordan in terms of enhancing democracy, freedoms and respect for human rights.

Durrieu, who is also a member of the French Senate, praised Jordan's reform process as well as its efforts to bring about peace and stability in the region.
