The source added that the border guards arrested five persons who were involved in the attempt. Some 755 Syrian refugees crossed into Jordan early Sunday, the Jordan Armed Forces said, the influx was reported as Assad's forces continued its ongoing military offensive across southern Syria.

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - The Border guards on Monday early morning foiled an attempt to smuggle huge caches of weapons and explosives from Syria into the Jordanian territories, a Jordanian Armed Forces member said.

The source added that the border guards arrested five persons who were involved in the attempt.

Some 755 Syrian refugees crossed into Jordan early Sunday, the Jordan Armed Forces said, the influx was reported as Assad's forces continued its ongoing military offensive across southern Syria.
