Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Wael Jaraisheh - Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriate Affairs Nasser Judeh said that Jordan will not recognize Israel as a Jewish state and it will not be an alternative home for Palestinians.
Judeh said during a parliament session was scheduled to deliberate on Kerry Plan, that Jordan will not be "alternative home for anybody".
Judeh described USA efforts to push peace talks between the two parties as "Serious attempt" to reach tangible results.
"Jordan is integrally involved in and has big role in the Palestinian-Israeli talks" he added.
He stressed that Jordan is not absent from the peace negotiations and will not accept any solution that contradicts with the country’s interests and national security.
"Jordan will not negotiate on behalf of Palestinians regarding their envisioned state’s borders with Israel" Judeh added.
Judeh reiterated Jordan’s stance which considers the establishment of an independent Palestinian state as per the 1967 borders with East Jerusalem as its capital, a top Jordanian national interest.
