Ammon News - The Israeli occupation authorities banned the Muslim call to prayer (Adhan) at Hebron's Al-Ibrahimi Mosque 49 times in January.

Palestinian sources said that prayer calls "Adhan" were banned by the Israeli authorities "on ground that they disturb Jewish settlers".

In a statement released Sunday, Director of Endowments in Hebron, Tayseer Abu Sneineh denounced these arbitrary measures by Israeli troops and Jewish settlers against sites of worship, describing them as an aggression against monotheistic religions and freedom of worship guaranteed by all international legislations and laws.
