State Security considers objections of Abu Qatada

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Anas Ali – The State Security Court faced a complexity on Tuesday due to a second hearing in the trial of cleric Omar Mahmoud Othman, known as Abu Qatada, who is suspected for issues of reform and the Millennium Challenge and bombings in 2000 .

The court raised the trial of Abu Qatada, on the tenth of this month.

It is scheduled to be issued by the Court on motions and objections made by Undersecretary of Defense for Abu Qatada in the previous session, which saw the last of the objections to the formation of the trial , according to “Ammon’s” source.

Abu Qatada rejected the presence of a military judge in the court , saying that it was " a breach of the agreement, which had been with him in London , which included a civilian before a judicial body .

Abu Qatada is prosecuted for two cases ; First : Reform and Challenge , which had been sentenced in absentee to hard labor for life, and the second millennium bombings in 2000, which he is sentenced in absentee for 15 years also with hard labor .
