Home Business Total enters large, unexplored ultra deep offshore area in Middle East 19-12-2013 05:05 PM Ammon News - Jordan Times: Total announced in a press statement this week that it has signed an exploration and production-sharing agreement (PSA) for offshore “block 41” with Oman following the exploration round launched by Muscat in November 2012. “Located off the Omani coast northwest of Muscat, block 41 covers a large unexplored area of almost 24,000 square kilometres, in water depths ranging from 30 to more than 3,000 metres,” the press release said.
