Home Jordan News School closings continue due to persistent weather 15-12-2013 02:31 PM Ammon News - AMMONNEWS -Majid Al Dabbas - The head of the University of Jordan , Dr. Akhalif Tarawneh reported a suspension time for the university on Monday , due to the difficulty of weather conditions in parts of the Kingdom , and the obstacles taking place in the campus. The missed day of school is planned to be made up on the following Saturday, 12/21/2013. A large numbers of trees fell in the courtyards of the University of Jordan , as a result of the wind and the weight of the snow that passed through in the last few days , also the downfall of some of electricity poles and electrical wires, threatening the possibility of fires. The following universities are also closed on the basis of prevailing weather conditions: Princess Sumaya University, Tafila Technical University, and Mutah University.

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS -Majid Al Dabbas - The head of the University of Jordan , Dr. Akhalif Tarawneh reported a suspension time for the university on Monday , due to the difficulty of weather conditions in parts of the Kingdom , and the obstacles taking place in the campus.
