No change in flight times, prepare 3 hours in advance

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Hisham Soualqh - The Executive Assistant to the Director General of the Royal Jordanian Media and Communication Basel Kilani declared that there are no changes or modifications to flight times.

In an interview with Ammon Kilani spoke regarding impassable roads and the desire for travelers safe and smooth arrival to the airport without any obstacles, hoping that things remain so in the coming hours.

The international airport did set in an emergency plan for dealing with low air on the basis of reports received from Arctic air, which is expected to cross the kingdom. The airport is calling for travelers of Queen Alia International Airport, to make sure their flight schedules and access to the airport by at least 3 hours earlier.

The group called to communicate with airlines and airline passengers in order to make sure the dates of their flights.

The group raised the alert level and the airport has begun to implement a series of actions, which includes constant monitoring and vigorous weather.

It showed the Jordanian company responsible for the operations of Queen Alia International Airport said in a statement to Ammon, that they met with their partners in the major airport; Civil Defense and Royal Jordanian, and among other companies related to the preparation of the necessary procedures and resources required.

And provided all the necessary equipment, sweepers of the streets of snow containing equipment , and icebreakers and cars fitted for snow , and bulldozers and de-icing equipment in addition to other devices managed by the collaborated group.
