He was admitted into the hospital several times , most recently on the eighth of June last year, after his lung was re-infected, which lasted until he passed away on Thursday evening , as announced by Prime South Africa's Zuma . Zuma said in a televised speech that the funeral of the South Africa’s first black president would be buried in a state funeral . He added that Mandela Nelson “died peacefully ( ... ) We have lost our father ." Mandela has been hailed a lengthy former South African President. He also said, " our deep gratitude to the spirit of Ashat in order to serve the people of this country and for the cause of humanity."
