Classes at Balqa university to resume Sunday

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS -Classes at Al Balqa Applied University’s main campus in Salt will resume on Sunday after seven days of suspension following an off-campus brawl that left five injured, including four students, according to the university’s spokesperson, Ahmad Manaseer.

A brawl between students from two different tribes erupted on November 19 outside the university in Salt, some 35km northwest of Amman.

Four students and one university employee were injured in the fight that took place near the western gate.

Gunshots were fired during the incident, resulting in four injuries, while one person was stabbed with a sharp tool.
