600,000 sheep for sacrifice during Eid Al Adha

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Around 600,000 heads of sheep are available in the local market for Eid Al Adha.

Minister of Industry, Trade and food, Hatim Hilwani said that the ministry's disputes consumer watchdog’s claims of price gouging for Eid sheep.

Eid Al Adha marks the end of the pilgrimage season, when Muslims of sufficient means are required to sacrifice livestock in remembrance of the Prophet Ibrahim’s willingness to sacrifice his son Ismail to God.
