Home Panorama Workshop on Role of Media in Enhancing Tourism Promotion 28-09-2013 12:42 PM Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Under the patronage o The Minister of Tourism Nidal Qatamin, and in cooperation with Crowne Plaza Hotel – Amman, Imdad Media Center held an intensive workshop on Saturday September 21, 2013 entitled “Utilizing Media to Enhance Tourism Promotion in Jordan.” The workshop which attracted top-notch experts and participants from The Ministry of Tourism, The Jordan Tourism Board, Tourism Guides Association, Tourism Bureaus Association, the Amman College of Tourism and Hotel Education, Jordan and Zaytouneh Universities tackled the issue of capitalizing on the unprecedented power of the media in today’s world to take tourism promotion in Jordan to another completely different level of professionalism. Imdad Center Chairman, Dr. Nabil Al- Sharif, stressed that the workshop was intended to highlight the importance of putting all efforts together to strengthen the tourism sector in Jordan and help it overcome the challenges it faces as a result of regional instability and market uncertainty.
