American Education Expo Hosts Scholarship Fair

AMMONNEWS - The Fifth Annual American Education Expo Scholarship Fair returns to Amman on Tuesday September 24. The fair will take place at the Kempinski Hotel located at Abdul Hamid Shouman St. from 6 to 9 p.m. Representatives from top American colleges and universities will discuss undergraduate and graduate admissions and scholarship opportunities.

Students should bring multiple copies of their report cards, transcripts, and TOEFL scores to enable representatives to determine admission and scholarship eligibility.

The United States remains the top destination for foreign students seeking higher education. In 2012, over 730,000 students from around the world enrolled at American colleges and universities.

The American Expo is organized by the International Student Network (ISN), a world-wide partner of the U.S. Department of Commerce, U.S. Commercial Service. Consular officers from the U.S. Embassy in Amman will be available to answer questions from students and parents regarding the visa process.
