The two officials also reviewed arrangements for a visit by a Jordanian parliamentary delegation led by Srour to Cyprus this month. Srour highlighted the strong ties between the two countries as well as the need to further boost them in the interest of both peoples. Both sides called for a peaceful solution to the Syrian crisis that preserves the country's unity and ends bloodshed. The ambassador said his country is interested in further cementing relations with Jordan in various fields.

Ammon News - AMMAN (Petra)--Speaker of the Lower House of Parliament Saad Hayel Srour met on Thursday with Cypriot Ambassador to Jordan Charalambos Hadjisavvas to discuss the latest developments in the Middle East, mainly the Syrian crisis and the Cypriot issue.

The two officials also reviewed arrangements for a visit by a Jordanian parliamentary delegation led by Srour to Cyprus this month.
