Jordan reaches halfway mark in combating corruption — Bino

Ammon News - AMMAN — Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) President Samih Bino on Monday said that the agency has reached the halfway mark in its campaign to combat corruption.

Speaking at a workshop organised by the ACC in cooperation with the US state and justice departments, Bino said that the Jordanian state has the political will to combat corruption, and that the ACC has referred major corruption cases to the judiciary for investigation.

He added that the agency’s cooperation with international organisations is part of Jordan’s commitment to combat corruption, which poses serious threats to the international community. (Petra)
