The CCD media centre said the rescue teams and medics rushed to the scene, treated the injured on the spot and evacuated them to a nearby government hospital, where they were listed in a serious-to-stable condition. The bodies of those dead were also shifted to the same hospital. In a separate accident, a woman died and another person was injured when their car overturned near the Roman city of Jerash, north of Amman, the CDD said.

Ammon News - AMMAN (Petra) – Four people died and three others were injured on Saturday when three vehicles collided in Madaba, south of Amman, according to the Civil Defence Department CDD.
