Jordan condemns Lebanon's twin bombings

Ammon News - AMMAN (Petra) Jordan on Saturday condemned as terrorist acts the twin bombings that targeted two mosques in the northern Lebanese city of Tripoli and claimed the lives of 45 people and injured 500 others.

State Minister for Media Affairs Mohammad Momani said yesterday's attacks and the bombing the targeted Beirut's southern suburb last week prove that terrorism is the most dangerous threat to regional and international peace and security.

Momani, who is also government spokesman, renewed Jordan's firm stance in rejection of all forms of terrorism and violence, voicing the Kingdom's solidarity with Lebanon against all threats to its stability.
