Crown Prince checks on fire suppression operations at Farah Hospital

Ammon News - AMMAN His Royal Highness Crown Prince, Hussein bin Abdullah II, the Regent, on Monday checked on operations to extinguish a fire that engulfed a 13-story expansion building of Farah hospital in Jabal Amman.

The Regent was briefed by Director General of the Civil Defense Department, Lit. General Talal Kofahi, on measures taken to put out the inferno in three hours without any injuries.

Kofahi said firefighters were able to douse the major blaze which spread over an area of 35,000 square meters in record time using advanced equipment.

Crown Prince Hussein was also reassured during the visit by Dr. Zeid Kilani, owner of the Farah Hospital, on the safety of workers and patients in the hospital.
