Higher Education penalizes Ajloun University

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - The Higher Education Commission for University Accreditation on Thursday decided to penalize the Ajloun National University, in northern Jordan.

In a session held on Thursday headed by Dr. Bashir al-Zoubi, the Higher Education Council decided to impose a financial penalty on the university, issue a warning against it, and limit the public capacity of the university.

The Council also decided to halt new student admission into Bacherlor's degree programs in Arabic Language, special education, psychology counseling, Computer Information Systems, Business Administration, IT Management, and Islamic banking, for a duration of one academic year starting on August 1, 2013.
