The announcement will be made at 10:30 PM on Thursday during a press conference at the Ministry's headquarters. The Ministry's spokesperson Ayman Barakat said on Tuesday that the official results of Tawjihi examinations will be reported in schools by 10 PM on Thursday, and electronically published on the Tawjihi official website www.elearning.jo also by 10 PM on Thursday. The Ministry will not be sending mobile text messages to students with their results, as the ministry had done in previous sessions, Barakat said. On the timing of the announcement of results, Barakat said that the Ministry chose to announce the results at night considering the rituals of the holy month of Ramadan, to be announced following Taraweeh nightly prayers. He cited that parents and students expressed that they prefer the results be announced at night. Barakat meanwhile urged students and parents to disregard any electronic websites that claim to publish the official results before the set time announced by the Ministry, adding that the "elearning" website is the only official site for the Tawjihi results.
