Three Women Assault Kuwaiti Mother, Son

Ammon News - KUWAIT CITY - Three Jordanian women and an Egyptian man were arrested for assaulting a Kuwaiti woman in her 50s and her 22-year-old son in Hawally area. However, the Egyptian was later released after investigations revealed that he was not involved in the quarrel. According to sources, a quarrel broke out between a Kuwaiti woman and three Jordanian women at a parking lot of a commercial complex in Hawally area during which a Jordanian woman slapped the Kuwaiti woman and assaulted her with the help of her friends. When the Kuwaiti woman’s son intervened to settle the quarrel, he also received a slap from one of the women.

When a passer-by informed the Operations Room of Ministry of Interior about the quarrel, securitymen and paramedics rushed to the location. Paramedics referred the Kuwaiti woman and her son to Mubarak Hospital while securitymen arrested the three Jordanian women and an Egyptian man, and referred them to the police station of the area for investigations. After interrogations, securitymen released the Egyptian man as he was just a bystander and was not involved in the quarrel. A case was registered against the three Jordanian women and necessary legal action was taken against them.

Maid assaulted: An Asian woman filed a case at Andalous Police Station against her Kuwaiti sponsor, accusing the latter of assaulting her. However, after securitymen summoned the Kuwaiti woman to the police station for questioning, she denied the allegation. She informed securitymen that she did not allow her Asian housemaid to leave the house because she had wasted several hours with other housemaids.
