Man stabbed in Ruseifa; police arrest assailant

Ammon News - AMMAN (Petra) — A man was stabbed on Wednesday at the Hittin Refugee Camp in Ruseifa, the police said.

Col. Ziad Bakir, director of the Ruseifa police department, said the wound extended to the man's liver and he was taken to Prince Feisal Hospital, where his condition was reported as critical.

Police arrested the assailant, he said, noting that investigations were underway into the incident.

Also Wednesday, Ruseifa police arrested a "wanted criminal" involved in around 40 cases of theft and attempted murder and have started questioning him.
