Ammon News - AMMAN (Petra)--Prime Minister Abdullah Esnour said that the government, upon directives of His Majesty King Abdullah II, attaches special attention and care to residents of refugee camps, who form an important part of Jordan's social fabric.
At a meeting with heads of services improvement committees and consultative committees, Esnour said the meeting, the fifth with refugee camp representatives in Jordan, comes as part of continued contacts and consultations on domestic issues, adding that government procedures and decisions are taken through reaching out to all citizens.
Jordan, he added, works to maximize accomplishments in various fields, adding that national unity is a major guarantor of the stability and development of this country.
Heads of the committees praised such meetings that come as a true translation of the King's directives to keep channels open with all segments of society.
They also expressed pride in King Abdullah's role in defense of the Palestinian issues and in safeguarding holy sites in Jerusalem.
