UAE PM informs top students about their results over the phone

Ammon News - * Mohammed bin Rashid informs top secondary school students about their results

DUBAI The UAE Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, surprised outstanding secondary school students by personally informing them about their results over the phone, taking the opportunity to wish them more successes throughout their scientific and practical lives.

Emirati student Sarah Abdul Rahim Al Emadi, from Maria al-Qibtiyya School, came first in the Arts section with 99.75 per cent, while student Lara Hazim Mahmoud (Jordanian), from Madhab Secondary School in the Fujairah Education Zone, came top in the Science section with 99.93 per cent. In the Science section, Emirati student Abdullah Mahmoud Abdullah Ahmed from Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi School in the Fujairah Education Zone, was number one among Emirati students nationwide with 99.55 per cent.

Sheikh Mohammed wished all the students continued success, congratulating them for accomplishing such an important educational stage. He also commended the administrative, teaching and technical staff for their efforts during the academic year 2012 - 2013.

"Sharing the moment of success with distinguished students makes them happier and gives more incentive for success. It also generates momentum to further develop the field of education in our country. As we are so proud of the top students, we have pleasure in congratulating their families. We wish them success in their subsequent scientific and practical lives", he added.

Sheikh Mohammed said, "I thank each school, teacher, educator and administrator for their perseverance and efforts to provide a good educational environment for our children. The future of the UAE starts with schools, so you are part of building the future for our next generations". (WAM)
